ZEI History.

Zumpano Enterprises, Inc. was founded on June 1, 1972 by Mr. James Zumpano. Mr. Zumpano, previously National Sales Manager for a prominent manufacturer, arrived in Atlanta, Georgia with plans to start his own business. Recognizing the bright economic future of the Southeast, he chose Atlanta as the headquarters for his new venture.

Working essentially as a manufacturers’ representative, he recognized the need to warehouse products to provide better service and pricing for his customers. A few major companies that he represented, expressing confidence in his expertise, agreed to supply him with products for inventory. To support these commitments, Mr. Zumpano invested in the first company showroom and warehouse totaling 4300 square feet. His goal from the start was to present to his customers access to world class products through exceptional staff and facilities.

As a result of Mr. Zumpano’s vision and dedication, the company has continued to experience a tremendous growth curve and expansion. Current warehouse space is in excess of 100,000 square feet and services six convenient showrooms in the Atlanta area as well as five strategically located warehouses. This has enabled Zumpano Enterprises, Inc. to deliver unparalleled products and services to their customers for over 37 years.

Design Tiles by Zumpano Enterprises sells to retail customers, dealers and installers/contractors locally as well as to reputable distributors throughout the United States. The company supports these customers through a partnering arrangement that has been the corner stone of their success for nearly four decades. The company’s mission continues to be to build successful relationships by promoting fair, competitive pricing, world class distribution, and a commitment to deliver what we promise.
